Dr. Farzana, a board certified pediatrician with Samaritan Pediatrics, has been in practice for eight years. She affiliated with Samaritan Health Services in 2003 and worked at Mid-Valley Pediatrics in Lebanon prior to joining Samaritan Pediatrics. Before settling in the Willamette Valley, Dr. Farzana lived in Utah and practiced medicine for five years at the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital, including work in the clinic, emergency room and hospital. There she provided care to newborn, children, adult and geriatric patients.
Dr. Farzana is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also a member of the advisory board at the OSU Child Development Center and frequently gives talks to parents regarding children’s health at LBCC and local schools.
Dr. Farzana’s passion for giving back has led her to work as a volunteer physician at the Community Outreach Clinic, and to perform volunteer services for both CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and CARDV (Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence). She has also worked as a volunteer physician for the Shriners Hospital Annual Screening Clinic. Dr Farzana is a board member for the Parent Enhancement Program and is also member of the lactation committee for Samaritan Lactation Services.
As a mother of two, Dr. Farzana finds great pleasure in providing children the best care with up-to-date medical knowledge, and considers children the most precious gift of God.
