Dr. Zimmerman graduated from Medical College of Virginia. She completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Zimmerman is board certified in Rehabilitation Medicine, and she is a Diplomate of the Board of Pain Management. Dr. Zimmerman finished a fellowship specializing in osteopathic manual medicine. She later served as a professor at Michigan State University teaching manual medicine skills to medical students and residents. Her areas of expertise in addition to manual medicine include electrodiagnostic testing, exercise prescription, chronic pain management, sports and occupational medicine. Dr. Zimmerman has been in practice since 2002.
