Originally from New York, Dr. Kim attended medical school at the State University of New York in Stony Brook, Long Island. She then went on to train as a specialist in Plastic Surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She graduated as Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery from LLUMC. She has published scientific papers in medical journals such as the Aesthetic Surgery Journal. She is involved in clinical research projects, including a study of deformational plagiocephaly, the “flat” head shape that can sometimes be seen in newborn babies.
