Brief Intro

Dr. Parisi graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology with a degree in Chemical Biology. She received her dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). Continuing her dental education, Dr. Parisi followed her passion for both medicine and dentistry at University of Pennsylvania, where she completed a Fellowship program in the field of Oral Medicine. This is an area of dentistry that focuses on the diagnosis and management of disorders or conditions affecting the mouth and facial regions and on the dental management of medically complex patients. Upon completing her Fellowship, Dr. Parisi went on to become an assistant professor in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences at UMDNJ-NJ Dental School. She pursued her career teaching and doing clinical research, becoming the program director for the postgraduate Oral Medicine Fellowship program. During this time, she completed the board examination and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Medicine. After several years at the school, she transitioned into private practice as an associate dentist in Clifton, NJ. There, she learned to integrate her Oral Medicine background with general dentistry. In 2009, she opened Parisi Dental in Totowa, NJ. She continues to practice both general dentistry and oral medicine. Dr. Parisi is a member of the following professional associations: â€¢ American Dental Association â€¢ New Jersey Dental Association â€¢ Passaic County Dental Association â€¢ American Academy of Oral Medicine â€¢ UMDNJ Dental School Alumni Association â€¢ SjÃ–grenâ€™s Syndrome Foundation Member Nicole graduated from Berdan Institute in 2009. She loves working with people and making them feel comfortable in the dental office. Nicole enjoys spending time with family, her dog Coco, and enjoys learning new things. Nicole has fun working with Dr. Parisi and Shannon. Shannon has been working in the dental field since 1997. She has been handling the duties of the front desk including billing, insurance and managing the office. Shannon likes spending time with family, friends, and her 3 dogs. She also enjoys scrapbooking in her free time. Shannon loves working with Dr. Parisi and Nicole.
