He is an involved member of numerous local, regional and national medical organizations including the Society for Vascular Surgery and the Eastern Vascular Society where he holds committee positions.?After graduating from Syracuse University with honors, Dr. Trestman went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine in his hometown of New Orleans at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. He was then accepted into an accelerated 5 year residency in Vascular Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx where he was highly trained in all aspects of Vascular Surgery, concentrating on complex minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of aortic aneurysms and peripheral vascular disease.
