Dr. Libre received his undergraduate degree in history at Dartmouth College and then attended Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Michigan. After working for a year as an instructor in internal medicine, he stayed on at the University of Michigan to do three years of pulmonary and critical care training. Dr. Libre has particular interest in interstitial lung disease and asthma. From 2006-2010 Dr. Dr. Libre has been recognized by The Washingtonian Magazine and Washington Consumers? Checkbook as one of the regions "Top Doc?s". He is fluent in Swedish and Italian.
