Her father, Dr. Paul Klawitter, was a well known podiatrist in the Omaha area for over 33 years. He specialized in minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Klawitter worked for her father for 10 years before going to podiatry school.Dr. Klawitter went to the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from the College of Podiatric Medicine in June, 1999.
