I was born in the Philippines and moved to the U.S. in 1990. I received my medical doctor's degree at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMMC) in the Philippines. I completed three years of pediatric residency training at Polymedic General Hospital in Metro Manila, Philippines, and continued my training here in the U.S. in combined pediatric and internal medicine at Los Angeles County Hospital + USC Medical Center in Los Angeles.
