Brief Intro

Dr. Brown received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and his graduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Brown completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Florida at Gainesville. He then completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Brown was an Associate Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, before joining Raleigh Infectious Diseases in 2002.
