Dr. Hemphill, a sports medicine provider at Carilion Clinics Institute for Orthopaedics and Neurosciences, earned his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati. He completed his internship at Tripler Army Medical Center and residency in orthopaedic surgery at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center. He then pursued a fellowship in sports medicine at Columbus, Georgia's Hughston Clinic. With expertise in knee, hip, elbow, and shoulder conditions, including fracture repair, ligament tears, and arthritis, he offers both operative and non-operative treatments.
