Dr. Harris is past Chair of the Pacific Region Board of directors of the Arthritis Foundation. He now serves on the Pacific Regional Board of Directors of the AF. He currently serves on the National Board of Directors of the Arthritis Foundation, he is Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board of the National BOD of the AF. He serves on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Bone and Joint Initiative. Dr. Harris is the Co-director of the Acute Rehab. Unit of Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital, in Whittier, CA. Dr. Harris is Clinical Professor of Medicine/Division of Rheumatology, David Geffen School of Medicine at U.C.L.A. He is an active member of the American College of Rheumatology, California Rheumatology Alliance and the Southern California Rheum Society.
