Doctor Hansen was born in Thousand Oaks, California and was raised in Logan, Utah. He attended Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah from 1981-1982. He graduated from Utah State University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Cum Laude. Doctor Hansen went on to graduate from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1992 with a Doctorate of Medicine. He completed his Surgical Residency at University of Tennessee at Memphis in June 1997. Doctor Hansen is married with three boys. In his spare time Dr. Hansen enjoys spending time with his family, boating, snow skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, and water skiing. He served a LDS mission to Hong Kong.
