Dragan Golijanin, MD, is the director of genitourinary oncology at The Miriam and Rhode Island hospitals and an assistant professor of surgery (urology) at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He received his medical degree from the University of Belgrade; completed urology residencies at the University of Belgrade and Hadassah University Hospital, Hebrew University, in Jerusalem; and did fellowship training in genitourinary oncology and molecular biology research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Cornell University. He is board certified in urology. His clinical and research interests include the treatment of patients with cancers of the prostate, bladder, kidney and testes. His current research focuses on the development of imaging modalities using near infrared fluorescence.
