Dr. Blank is a board-certified Cardiologist with the American Board of Internal Medicine. He went to medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and later completed his residency, as well as a fellowship, with the University of Utah Medical Center.
Dr. Blank loves to help people and is focused on improving the lives of his patients. He said, Even if you can t always fix what is wrong, you can at least make it better and that is very rewarding. He is also excited about the future of cardiology because there have been significant improvements in new technology and medications, which are helping to reduce the need for transplants, pacemakers, and bypass surgeries.
Dr. Blank works closely with the LDS Hospital and University Hospital in Salt Lake City for heart transplant and Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) procedures. He is also a member of the American Heart Association, the Heart Failure Society, the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation, the American College of Cardiology, and the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Blank resides in Idaho Falls with his wife and five children. On his time off, he enjoys playing hockey, soccer, basketball, and restoring cars.
