Don Schengel, M.D., and his staff are here to care for your orthopedic needs. Dr. Schengel is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. He received his medical degree in 1984, internship completed in 1985, and residency completed in 1989 at University of California, San Francisco. He is the only fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon in this area, completing his Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Orthopedic Research of Virginia in 1990. He has been in practice in Visalia since 1990. He is team physician for Visalia Rawhide Professional Baseball Team and College of the Sequoias.
Dr. Schengel’s sub-specialties include arthroscopy of the shoulder and knee and total joint replacement. He is affiliated with Kaweah Delta Health Care District and Sequoia Surgery Center.
