My philosophy of care is to provide the highest quality of anesthesia care working within a multi-disciplinary team environment. Anesthesiology is my field of choice because it affords me the opportunity to interact with a wide range of patients, utilize a broad-base medical background, and apply advanced technical skills. A relatively new development in anesthesiology is the use of ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia for orthopedic surgery. I currently serve as president of Beverly Anesthesia Associates, Inc. and am a political advocate for the field. I have also served as president of the Massachusetts Society of Anesthesiologists and as the chief of anesthesia at Beverly Hospital. One of my personal hobbies/interests is coaching ice hockey.
