Dr. Dinesh Mehta graduated with honors from the Medical College of the M.S. University, of Baroda, India. He then received his postgraduate residency training in General Surgery and Otolaryngology in England and in the United States. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also Board Certified by the Royal College of Surgeons in United Kingdom. He is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Rhinological Society and the American Head and Neck Society. Dr. Mehta has a special interest and expertise in the field of Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Otologic Surgery, Head and Neck Surgery, facial trauma surgery and balloon sinuplasty. His book and publications on Endoscopic Sinus Surgery have provided education to medical students, ENT residents in training, and practicing Otolaryngologists worldwide. His postgraduate instructional courses for past ten years on Endoscopic Sinus Surgery are highly acclaimed at the American Academy of Otolaryngology in the USA and various parts of world. New York Magazine has listed Dr. Mehta amongst the "best doctors in the New York area." At one point during his distinguished career, Dr. Mehta served as Associate professor and Vice Chairman in the Department of Otolaryngology at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine (1989-2000) in the Bronx. He continues his association with the College and the Medical Center now as clinical Associate Professor.
