I chose to be a physician because I wanted a career in which I could help other people and continue to learn and be challenged throughout my life. I chose pediatrics because I like children and because it is a cheerful specialty in which most sick patients get better. Patients can make the most of their visit by thinking of their concerns ahead of time and scheduling extra time if there are many concerns.
