Brief Intro

I was born and raised in San Francisco. I moved to San Diego to complete my undergraduate studies and returned to the Bay Area to complete my medical school and residency training. I feel very fortunate to have been able to complete my training in the Bay Area because it allowed me to spend time with my extended family. I subsequently moved to the Los Angeles area with my wife so that we could be closer to her family. We now have three very active boys who keep us extremely busy; I feel like I am part physician, part chauffeur! Our family is very active in school, sports, and music. We regularly run, bike, and ski. All my boys have participated in the Los Angeles Marathon with my wife and me, each running their first race by the seventh grade.
