Brief Intro

Dr. Deepak Srivastava is the director of the Gladstone Institute of Cardiovascular Disease and the Wilma and Adeline Distinguished Professor of Pediatrics at UCSF. In addition to caring for patients at UCSF Children's Hospital, Srivastava investigates the causes of heart disease and is developing novel therapies for cardiac disease. Srivastava earned a medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch and completed a residency in the Department of Pediatrics at UCSF, followed by a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the Children's Hospital of Harvard Medical School. Subsequently, Srivastava completed a Pediatric Scientist Development Program fellowship at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. |
