Dr. Abell received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and graduated from medical school at the University of California San Francisco. She completed her fellowship in Dermatology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. A board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Abell has been practicing dermatology in the Pittsburgh area for over 20 years. Dr. Abell is a Fellow of the AAD. She is also a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, The American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology. She is a founding member of the Pittsburgh Women's Dermatology Group.
