As a family practitioner and geriatrician, Dr. Munoz provides a full spectrum of care for all members of the family from birth through older adulthood. He is concerned not only with treating illnesses, but in helping patients develop lifestyle habits to prevent problems and maintain good health. He describes his style of practice as "holistic." Dr. Munoz strongly believes in the connection between a patient's physical, emotional and spiritual health.
In addition to providing care for his existing family practice patients, Dr. Munoz cares for the frail elderly in our community. Through geriatric assessments and consultations with other area physicians, Dr. Munoz will be able to broadly impact the quality of life for our frail elderly and their families.
Dr. Munoz completed his family practice residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and his geriatric fellowship at Sinai Samaritan Medical Center. Dr. Munoz is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Munoz was born in Milwaukee and raised in Puerto Rico. He comes from a close-knit family of seven and is happy to live and practice medicine in South Milwaukee. All of his immediate family live in the area. Dr. Munoz enjoys reading, jogging, exercise and movies.
