David Rohde, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist who is specially trained to treat cancer patients with radiation. This involves determining who is a candidate for radiation, what area needs to be treated, and directing the treatment planning and delivery of the most appropriate type of radiation for the specific case.
Dr. Rohde is a Wisconsin native who served as a Naval Undersea & Diving Medical Officer, as well as Radiation Oncology Medical Officer and Co-Division Officer at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, Calif. He served during Operation Desert Storm and was promoted to Commander prior to returning to Wisconsin.
While actively practicing all aspects of radiation oncology, Dr. Rohde has special interest in Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), HDR brachytherapy including partial breast brachytherapy, and radiosurgery. (04/10)
