I am the regional physician coordinator for perinatal services for Southern California Kaiser Permanente and a neonatologist at Woodland Hills, Panorama City and Los Angeles Medical Centers. I serve as a representative to the American Academy of Pediatrics. I am a board member of California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative. Biography I was born in Cleveland Ohio. My family moved to Los Angeles in 1960. My father was a thoracic surgeon at Kaiser Permanente Panorama City for over 30 years. My twin brother is the chair of pathology at UCLA. I am widowed with two lovely children in college. About my practice About half my professional time is spent in bedside neonatology in a practice I have shared with colleagues for 20 years. The remainder of my time is spent facilitating the inter-hospital and interdisciplinary needs of newborn care for our 11 Southern California Kaiser Permanente hospitals. How I thrive Family, involvement in my religious community, intellectual stimulation, exercise and pacing my life have been helpful to me in feeling well.
