Dr. Kozie graduated with a B.S. Degree from the University of Wisconsin and received his medical degree from Loyola University, Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. He then completed his residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Washington in 1976. After serving two years in the US Air Force, Dr. Kozie established a practice in Auburn, WA. He is board certified in Otolaryngology, is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons and is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Washington in the Department of Otolaryngology. In the past, Dr. Kozie has served as Chief of Surgery at Auburn Regional Medical Center and St. Francis Hospital.
