Dr. Budman is the Associate Chief of Oncology of the Don Monti Division of Medical Oncology and Division of Hematology at North Shore University Hospital and Professor of Clinical Medicine at New York University. He is also a principal investigator for the Cancer and Leukemia Group B (CALGB) and serves on their Board of Directors, Breast Committee, and Institutional Performance Committee. His major research interests have been the management of breast cancer, experimental therapeutics and clinical pharmacology. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles, 130 abstracts, and three book chapters on experimental agents. He serves as an editor for two cancer journals. In addition, he previously served as the Vice Chairman of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics Committee for the CALGB for a decade and was responsible for the introduction of new agents into the CALGB breast cancer trials.
