Dr. Daniel Bregman is an extremely gifted eye surgeon, specializing in refractive and no-stitch micro-incision cataract surgery. His tremendous experience as a dedicated and skilled eye surgeon positions him as our team leader at Eye Health Partners of Middle Tennessee, Inc. Formerly the Chief of Ophthalmology at Ireland Army Community Hospital in Fort Knox, KY, he has been a member of our practice since 1993. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed his residency at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. His surgical success rate is unparalleled among his peers, having performed more than 30,000 LASIK procedures as well as more than 30,000 cataract procedures so far in his exceptional career. Dr. Bregman was one of the first surgeons in Tennessee to perform the Visian ICL procedure, which is another type of refractive surgery to correct vision for those who are not candidates for LASIK. Dr. Bregman is also the first cataract surgeon in Middle TN to perform micro-incision cataract surgery with a 1.8 mm incision, and also pioneered the use of LensTec Softec HD lens implants, which offers increased accuracy in lens implant cataract surgery patients. For his cataract patients wanting premium lens upgrades, Dr. Bregman uses state-of-the-art implantable lenses such as ReStor and Toric, allowing his patients to see exactly what they want to see post-surgery.
