Dr. Megler is the President of Lakeshore Ear Nose Throat Center, PC, consisting of a group of nine physicians practicing in the field of otolaryngology, and head and neck cancer surgery. Our practice is unique in comparison to other private practices in the Detroit area as each of our physicians offer sub-specialties in different areas of otolaryngology. Practice subspecialities include: head and neck oncology, nasal allergy and sinus disorders, neurotology, facial nerve disorders, pediatric ENT care and airway management, and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Megler completed his residency in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery at Wayne State University in Detroit. His areas of interest lie in head and neck cancer surgery with reconstruction, plastic surgery of the nose, sinus surgery and sleep apnea. Dr. Megler is the Assistant Professor of otolaryngology at Wayne State University, past president of the Michigan Otolaryngological Society, and he has been named in Detroit Monthly Magazine as the best otolaryngology physician in southeastern Michigan in 2 different surveys. Dr. Megler is currently the Chief of Section Otolaryngology and Vice-Chief of Surgery at St. John Hospital and Medical Center. In 2004 and 2008, Dr. Megler was named by his peers as one of the area's top otolaryngology physicians by Hour Detroit magazine in its annual "Top Docs" survey.
