Brief Intro

My name is Dan Pierce and Ive been a family physician with InterMed in Yarmouth for over 15 years. My family, including my wife and two teenagers, live in Portland. We thoroughly enjoy all that it has to offer including access to skiing, biking, movies and neighborhood walks. I grew up in Vermont where I also went to medical school. My grandfather, an internist, went there as well, although his class size was only 18 compared to my 121. I strive to live up to his high ethical standards, compassion, and appreciation of longstanding relationships with patients. Modern medicine will continue to be very complex but the variety of health problems were faced with is also stimulating and challenging. I am fortunate to work with colleagues and staff who are eager to face these challenges in an ongoing effort to make our patients lives more healthy.
