Meet Dr. Thompson Damon Thompson DDS  A quick look at "Dr. Damon" Grew up in the Town of Blacksburg. Son of Dr. Dan and Dolly Thompson Graduated from Virginia Tech in 1992 Married to wife Andrea in 1992 He received his dental degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University's Medical College of Virginia in 1996 Served for and trained by the United States Navy 1996-1999. Completed a General Practice Residency at the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, CA 1996-1997. Served aboard the USS Arctic (AOE-8) 1997-1999 Returned to Blacksburg to join Drs. Thompson and Schnecker in private practice 1999-2010 Has five boys; Ethan, Seth, Isaac, Luke and Micah
