Dr. Miller graduated from Pacific Union College with academic distinction in 1982. He attended Loma Linda University Medical School, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. After completing his orthopaedic residency at Loma Linda University in 1991, Dr. Miller served for four years in the United States Air Force, attaining the rank of major and serving as chief of orthopaedic surgery at Davis- Monthan Air Force Base.
Following his military service, Dr. Miller completed a fellowship in adult lower extremity reconstructive surgery under the direction of Dr. Kenneth A. Krackow in New York. Dr. Miller is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in primary and revision total hip and knee replacement, knee arthroscopy, and osteotomies, and has published scientific articles and presented his research at both national and international meetings. Because of the complex nature of his practice, Dr. Miller has patients referred to him from throughout the southwestern United States. He is a spring training physician for the Chicago White Sox, and has been with Canyon since 1996.
