Creighton C. Tubb, M.D. is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery with fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Joint Replacement Surgery and a subspecialty certification in Sports Medicine.Prior to joining New Braunfels Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine, Dr. Tubb attained the rank of Colonel and retired from the military with over 20 years of service in the U.S. Army. He was deployed as a surgeon in 2005 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom at Ibn Sina Hospital, Baghdad, Iraq and again in 2011 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom at Camp Bastion, Helmand Province, Afghanistan.Dr. Tubb has extensive orthopaedic surgery experience with an emphasis on managing complex joint reconstructions and revision surgery. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Tubb devoted much of his military career as an educator training the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons. He remains an active member of numerous professional societies, serving on several committees and work groups focused on improving musculoskeletal care at the national level. He has published multiple scientific articles and textbook chapters. Dr. Tubb focuses his professional life toward optimizing patient function and quality of life for those faced with musculoskeletal disease or injury.
