Collin McDonald PA-C is a nationally board certified and state licensed Physician Assistant specializing in pain management. He received a master of medical science degree from the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia in 2010, and a bachelor of arts in Psychology from the University of Utah in 2007.
Prior to his training as a Physician Assistant, Collin worked as an EMT in local emergency rooms for 5 years which cultivated his love of medicine and his love of our community. As a PA, Collin has a background in radiology and urgent care in addition to managing pain symptoms.
While in school, Collin received the Heritage award which is given to students who, “Embody the traditions and characteristics of a caring PA.” He carries this attitude into his daily practice and has a strong desire to work with patients to solve their pain issues. He feels privileged to work at Wasatch Pain Solutions where our vision allows us to treat pain directly which increases quality of life while reducing the potential harm of medication therapy.
Collin’s interests outside of work involve taking advantage of our beautiful mountains in every season. He is a non-competitive runner and sports enthusiast, and spends any quiet time a young family provides reading the wise and beautiful words of thinkers, philosophers, and poets who have graciously recorded their thoughts.
