Dr. Chris Peterson
The Peterson’s moved to Lander in 1972 when Chris was two years old. An opening for a dentist at the State Training School gave Dale, Chris's father, the chance to fulfill his dream to live in the West. They grew up in Lander enjoying all the wonderful things Wyoming has to offer.
Chris graduated from Lander Valley High school in 1988, and went to the University of Wyoming to study biology. He earned his degree in 1993, and then attended Creighton University’s School of Dentistry until 1997. He moved with his family to Lander after graduating, where he began practicing general dentistry at Lander Dental Group.
Chris's family consists of his wife, Pam, and two children. Ellis, who was born in 1997, and Zoe, born in 1999. They try to spend as much time as possible in the outdoors. It’s hard for them to pick a favorite area, whether it’s the mountains, Red Desert, or out on the lake. Chris is a board member of the One Shot Antelope Hunt Club in Lander, and is an active member in Wyoming’s Dental Association.
Missionary work is also a priority. Pam and Chris went to New Orleans to provide dental treatment following the Hurricane Katrina disaster, and he has worked with his father in Honduras on many occasions since high school.
Chris truly enjoys getting to know his patients, listening, and providing comprehensive, quality dental care.
