Chris Maloney MD PhD is Chief of the Division of Pediatric Inpatient Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine and Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is the Associate Medical Director for Primary Children’s Medical Center and is responsible for daily clinical operations and administering the Pediatric Hospitalist program. Dr. Maloney is a critical care pediatrician and sees only hospitalized children in the intensive care unit and general wards at Primary Children’s Medical Center. He holds a PhD in Biomedical Informatics and his research focuses on using computers to assist clinicians in providing quality care to patients.
