Dr. Sirridge was born in Fort Riley, Kansas, and graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City for both his undergraduate degree and his medical education. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Sirridge went on to complete fellowships in Oncology and Hematology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is a board certified Internist, Medical Oncologist and Hematologist. Since 1984, Dr. Sirridge has been active in the United States Army Medical Corps. He began his medical career as a Captain in 1984, was promoted to a Major in 1986 and has served as a Lieutenant Colonel for the past six years. Dr. Sirridge has received many distinguished honors within the military including the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, and the Army Achievement Medal. Throughout his medical career, Dr. Sirridge has had several academic appointments including the Director of Ambulatory Services in the Oncology Clinic at Truman Medical Center-East, the Director of the Adult Hemophilia Clinic at Truman Medical Center, the Assistant Professor of Medicine, Hematology & Oncology at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Medicine, and as the Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado Medical School. Dr. Sirridge resides in Kansas City, Kansas, is married and has four children.
