Being a doctor is simply who you are, and not just what you do. My driving passion to be challenged, to help people and to continue learning throughout my life, geared my professional interest in becoming a physician.
My practice philosophy is to respect people, healthy or ill, regardless of who they are, support patients and their loved ones whenever and wherever they need it and promote health, as well as treat disease.
My specialty involves both endovascular surgery and open vascular surgery. These methods allow me to treat my patients in a minimally invasive way when possible but also with traditional open surgery when necessary.
At Kaiser Permanente, both the freedom of clinical decision-making and the availablity of the latest medical technologies allow me to offer the most effective medical care to my patients. In addition, the collegial atmosphere and the trusting relationship between physicians provide an excellent environment for mentoring and continual medical education.
When not working, I like to participate in marathon and enjoy running along the Bay Trail. I just finished my second NY marathon on Sunday (11-5-06) which was my third marathon total!
