Dr. Eil holds a medical degree and Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Chicago. He completed a fellowship in endocrinology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Eil also completed a visiting fellowship in medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. -A practicing endocrinologist for over three decades, Dr. Eil is a member of numerous professional societies, including the Diabetes and Endocrine Society of Rhode Island, of which he is president. Dr. Eil is also a retired Captain in the US Naval Reserve. -Dr. Eil is board certified in Internal Medicine and in the subspecialty of Endocrinology and Metabolism.
