He completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia, Roanoke-Salem Program in Roanoke, Virginia. Dr. Achilles then moved to Atlanta where he completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Emory University. Following his residency, Dr. Achilles completed a specialized fellowship in Pain Medicine at Emory University. Dr. Achilles is a board certified diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Achilles also has a subspecialty board certification in Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia. In addition, Dr. Achilles is a member of the Georgia Society of Anesthesiologists, American Medical Association, and International Spine Intervention Society. He is currently accepting new patients into his practice.
