Dr. Catherine Demirel is a clinical audiologist serving adult and pediatric patients at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Demirel earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Special Education at James Madison University. She holds a Ph.D. in Audiology from James Madison University. Dr. Demirel is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA, CCC-A) and licensed to practice in the District of Columbia and Virginia. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and holds Pediatric Audiology Specialty Certification® (PASC) from the American Board of Audiology (ABA).
