Carol Kuhn, M.D. moved to rural Maine in 1978. Prior to going to medical school, she worked in Kezar Falls and Isleboro, Maine as a physician’s assistant, and graduated from the Duke University College of Medicine’s Physician Assistant Program in 1977. She graduated from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 1996, and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her residency at the Maine Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program in 1999, and joined the staff at Seaport Family Practice the same year. Carol is most comfortable in and on the water, swimming, kayaking and sailing. When on land, she likes to hike, garden and cross county ski, and enjoys spending time with her large, extended family.Her professional interests include international health experiences with Doctors Without Borders and Konbit Sante, a Maine-based group which partners with health care systems in Northern Haiti. Closer to home, Carol is excited by geriatric medicine and the treatment of opioid addiction.
