Dr. Hitchcock comes to Bayhealth from the PinnacleHealth System in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where he completed his residency and served as Chief Resident of General Surgery. He received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.Dr. Hitchcock's areas of special interest are advanced laparascopic surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery. Dr. Hitchcock is a member of the American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, the American Thyroid Association, the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, and the Society of American Gastrointestional and Endoscopic Surgeons.
