Brief Intro

Bruce Kraut, MD, PhD, is a board certified pediatrician who founded Pediatric Associates of Ocala seventeen years ago and he has been serving our community ever since. He received a BA from Amherst College, a PhD in Classical Languages from Princeton University and an MD from Emory University. He did his residency in Pediatrics at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. Dr. Kraut is Chief of Pediatrics at Munroe Regional Medical Center and also an adjunct professor of Classics at the University of Florida. He and his wife, Lisa, and three children, Alexander, Andrew and Ella live on their horse farm (Hidden Lark Farm) where his wife instructs hunter/jumpers. Dr. Kraut is interested in all areas of general pediatrics and has a special interest in the history of medicine.
