We are pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Brian Kazienko, MD, FACC to Vascular Access Center (VAC) of Pittsburgh. Dr. Kazienko is Board Certified in Cardiology with special interest in peripheral vascular disease management. Brian was born and raised in Weirton, WV and attended West Virginia University School of Medicine. Afterwards, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH followed by a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. his fellowship training, Dr. Kazienko has completed advanced endovascular interventional training under Dr. Mark Wholey at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Kazienko has been in practice since 2005 and joined VAC of Pittsburgh in December 2011. Prior to joining VAC, Brian served as the Director of Cardiology at Meadville Medical Center in Meadville, PA for 4 1/2 years and was in private practice in the Pittsburgh area for 2 years. peripheral vascular disease, Dr. Kazienko continues to serve patients in all aspects of cardiovascular care. Dr. Kazienko lives in Cranberry Township with his wife and 2 children. Brian is an avid skier and is active with the Ski Patrol at Seven Springs Mountain Resort.
