Brief Intro

From some of the most respected hospitals in America to the front-lines of the war in Afghanistan, my medical career has given me the experience and knowledge to expertly treat a wide variety of orthopedic injuries and chronic conditions. I am skilled in arthroscopic procedures, including ligament reconstructions and cartilage debridement and restoration. I have extensive experience in trauma care and consider shoulder, elbow, hand/wrist, hip, knee, and foot/ankle injuries my specialty. My military background provides a foundation for the disciplined, thorough, and precise care I provide to all my patients. I served as Department Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery while stationed in Alaska, and served as Chief of Orthopaedic Trauma while deployed in Afghanistan. These experiences enhanced my knowledge of trauma care, which helps me bring a unique expertise to the community and allows me to understand the challenges my patients face during the healing process. I value being active in the community and have recently begun providing medical services for the Lone Peak High School football team. I was raised in Bountiful, Utah where I gained an appreciation for family, athletics, and the outdoors. I met my beautiful wife Christy while attending BYU. We have three wonderful children and enjoy spending our free time together.
