Dr. Barry E. LoSasso is a Board-Certified Pediatric Surgeon specializing in treating Pectus Excavatum and performing the Nuss Procedure.
The Nuss procedure is used to treat children (and adults) with pectus excavatum, a condition involving the depression of the sternum (breastbone) and anterior chest area. Dr. LoSasso is one of the world leading experts on the Nuss Procedure who personally trained with Dr. Donald Nuss, the founder of the Nuss Procedure.
The Center of Excellence for Pectus is one of the only centers to perform chest wall reconstruction on ADULTS as well as children.
The Center of Excellence for Pectus, established in 2005, is the premier center for the Nuss Procedure to treat and evaluate all forms of Pectus, including:
