Education and Training: Dr. Abedi completed his medical education in Cairo, Egypt, where he also underwent a year of internship in various medical specialties. He furthered his training in the United States at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia before completing his Psychiatry Residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Dr. Abedi continued his education by completing a Fellowship in Psychiatry at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is board-certified in both Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
