Brief Intro

As a practicing Ob/Gyn physician for over 30 years, I always put my patients first. My practice philosophy and personal life is in-line with the strongest ethical and professional standards. I always try to do the right thing for the right reason so I am not one to recommend unproven treatment that is only self-serving for economic purposes. I do not sell anything but my time and expertise. Nor do I believe that all that is new and technologically focused is always in the patient's best interest. My experience along with a recent history of medical device failures, drug recalls with exorbitant expense further strengthens my conviction that my practice philosophy of being conservative while respecting the rights of patients to be co-partners in their healthcare decisions is the right one. During my career I have held many positions within physician leadership ranging from Department Chair to Medical Staff president. In furtherance of my education and to be better prepared for the future, I recently completed coursework and was recently certified by the Certifying Commission in Medical Management as a Physician Executive.
