Dr. Scalzo is the Medical Director of the Missouri Regional Poison Center, the PACTS for Life/PALS course and the Clinical Simulation Center at Saint Louis University. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Medical Toxicology and the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology. Special interests include: - Cardiovascular toxins and emergencies - Lead poisoning - Antivenom for snake envenomation - Simulation Medicine - Disaster and Emergency Preparedness Dr. Scalzo was selected for St. Louis Magazine's 2008 and 2009 "Best Doctors."
