I became an ophthalmologist for the opportunity to improve the quality of lives for our patients. I'm proud to work with HealthPartners and be among its team of truly outstanding providers committed to your health. My practice includes patients of all ages and complexities. In addition to my clinical and surgical time, I teach resident ophthalmologists from the University of Minnesota and ophthalmic technicians from the Regions School of Ophthalmic Medical Technology. I also serve on the board of the Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology and am a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Beginning in medical school, I have been fortunate to work as a medical volunteer in Bolivia, Zimbabwe, and Nicaragua. I am now happy to have settled back in St. Paul with my family, to work in the community which I call home. When not working I enjoy woodworking, camping, and racquetball.
